Your writing stays on your device
The six default tools process pasted text and supported files in browser memory. DraftLens does not upload the contents to a server, external model, citation database, ad provider, or analytics service. We do not store documents in localStorage, cookies, or a document database. Switching tools keeps your draft in the current page’s memory. Closing or reloading the page clears it.
Your browser, device, clipboard, extensions, backups, or downloaded files may retain information under their own settings. We cannot control those systems. Avoid using any web tool for information you are not authorized to process on that device.
Files, clipboard, and exports
TXT and Markdown files are read locally after you select them. Copy actions use your clipboard only when requested; denied access shows a manual-copy option. Reports include your text and findings. Downloads and printed PDFs are your responsibility to store, share, or delete securely.
Ordinary web requests
The hosting provider receives ordinary requests needed to deliver pages and assets. Those requests may contain an IP address, browser information, requested URL, and time. Provider logging and retention depend on the hosting account’s configuration and policies. Do not put sensitive text in URLs or query strings. DraftLens has no account system or document-submission endpoint.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This release sets no application cookies and loads no analytics, ads, marketing pixels, or third-party font services. Fonts and illustrations are served from this website’s own origin. Theme choice is held on the current page, without persistent storage. There is no tracking-consent banner because tracking is not enabled.
Future analytics or advertising would require a separate implementation and policy review. Advertising may require certified consent management and regional controls. An environment flag alone does not activate those services. Paid document-processing providers are also disabled and cannot be enabled without a reviewed server implementation and revised privacy information.
External links and regional rights
Educational pages link to external sources. Those sites apply their own policies after you choose to visit them. DraftLens cannot act on rights requests for data controlled solely by those services or your hosting provider. Any operator-held data and applicable regional rights must be handled by the operator through a verified contact channel.
No contact address is invented in this release. Visit Contact for the current configuration status. Before enabling new processing, the operator must identify its purposes, providers, retention, legal basis where required, and a working rights-request route.
